About

"Think of the all-American warmth of Carrie Underwood, with the edgy but playful soulfulness of Sheryl Crow."

-Mallory Abreu, The Boston Globe

Ashley Gearing's first song was "Can You Hear Me When I Talk To You?" And America answered "yes."

Ashley was just 12-years old when she released that song and with it she became the youngest solo artist to enter the Country charts (an honor the legendary Brenda Lee had held). But that was just the start. Ashley's been awarded ASCAP's "Uncut Diamond" Award as a Future Rising Star, been voted Best Female Country Artist by fans in the New Country Artist Poll, and frequently performs on the legendary stage at the Grande Ole Opry.

But if you ask Ashley what she loves most about being a Country artist she'll tell you it's the songs. Also an accomplished songwriter, Ashley has been working on writing and recording songs that have a depth to them and truly connect with the listener.

"I think it's a pretty special thing when you can feel the goosebumps on your arms from a lyric or something you can directly relate to in a song," she says.

You can hear that on her self-titled EP, Ashley Gearing. From "Train Track" to "Human" to "Love Can Go To Hell," Ashley's music goes to the heart and tells relatable stories.

"I think the reason people love Country music is because it's honest, raw and real."
